Women's Leadership

Gobo has developed programs dedicated to the professional development and empowerment of women leaders. It is our belief that in connecting women and giving them a forum to speak, we are strengthening an often overlooked group of gifted leaders. These women impact their communities, their businesses, and their families, making the world a better place for us all.

The Broader View

The Broader View is a series of workshops and events created to provide busy women with skills to increase the quality of their professional and personal lives. Guided by women of great wisdom, each event offers an opportunity to reflect, connect, and learn in a supportive and rejuvenating environment. Learn more at The Broader View website.

Gobo Minority Women's Leadership Initiative

This initiative was developed as a way to collect the often, untold stories of inspiring women leaders from many parts of the world who have made significant impact within their own communities as well as the national and global stage.

Each woman leader is asked the same series of questions that were carefully crafted by Gobo. As they answer the questions, the leaders tell their own stories. These stories offer an inspiring and intriguing look at women from varying circumstances and backgrounds and an account of how they see the world from sometimes very different perspectives. The common thread they share is that these leaders are all women who have surpassed great odds and found the power from within to drive them to success.

Gobo has also had the pleasure of uniting many of these women at events. Women juggling work, family and community obligations often have no time to develop strong ties with other women leaders. Gobo's "gatherings" are high-energy events where women share their stories, bear witness to one another's work and experience each other's passion.

The interviews are on-going and will eventually be made available to the public. It is our desire that they will serve as both a collection of history and a source of inspiration to other women to develop their own strengths and become women of power and wisdom.
